Grill Cleaning & Maintenance

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us! For many families, this weekend marks the real beginning of the summer season. Before you fire up your grill for the first big BBQ, make sure you take these steps for proper care and cleaning.

Check out this great video from our friends at Weber to learn about cleaning gas grills…

…or this one, about cleaning charcoal grills!

If your grill is suffering from some cosmetic damage, spruce it up using special high-heat spray paint.

It’s available in spray-on or brush-on varieties to suit your grill’s needs.

Toss herbs on the hot coals in your charcoal grill to infuse your food with flavor.

We recommend rosemary, not only because it’s delicious, but because it is also a natural mosquito repellent. It will make your yard smell great, and ward off unwanted pests!

Skewers are a chef’s best friend.

Using skewers to hold pieces together, like skinny asparagus stalks or diced pepper pieces, makes for easy cooking and easy eating! Disposable bamboo skewers leave less mess to clean up, and flexible wire skewers help to maximize grilling space.
