In 2016, Chemung County Habitat for Humanity hopes to:

  • Complete at least 2 new homes
  • Complete 20 Home Repairs
  • Help at least 45 people with their Healthy Home program

Andy Hakes and Brett Gardner are proud to lead their Team at our Elmira location during our annual Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.

Their feelings are that “Habitat for Humanity isn’t just a fundraiser, its a partnership with our Company. Building and repairing affordable housing is a significant and meaningful mission to Habitat, Valu Home Centers and our generous Customers. Being a partner with Habitat for Humanity has given us the opportunity to reach beyond the Valu Home Centers Store walls and help positively impact not only the community as a whole, individuals as well.”

Please consider donating $1 to Habitat for Humanity at your neighborhood Valu Home Center. All proceeds will stay where they are collected, so you give where you live!

Plus, for each $1 donation you’ll be entered to win 1 of 5  $1,000 Valu Home Centers gift cards, or a 2016 Ford Focus. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Habitat for Humanity to offer a hand up to needy families in the communities that we serve. Thank you for your continued support!
