1. Let’s start with the basics. You’ve got things. You’ve got stuff. How to move it? Boxes on boxes on boxes. We’ve got cardboard moving boxes and Sterilite™ bins, Squarebuilt™ bubble wrap and paper to keep your delicate items safe and DoIt™ packing tape to seal it all up.

2. Alright, you’ve moved in (easier written than done, we know), but now it’s time to make the space your own. Hang your artwork with non-damaging Command™ strips or picture hanging nails. Command™ products will stick to most surfaces including painted, stained or varnished wood, glass, tile, painted cinder block, plaster, metal, and painted wallboard!

We also sell a variety of picture hanging supplies in our hardware section. These supplies are designed to hang your artwork/decor in the safest possible way, so accidents don’t occur and wall damage is kept at a minimum. Remember to use the correct size nail for the weight of your decor!

3. You did it! You’ve successfully moved into your space, made it your own and you can now kick your feet up and bask in the originality and comfort of your new living space. Nice work! But what about those unexpected DIY projects that’ll inevitably come your way? If you’re a new home owner, it’s important you’re prepared for these moments and make sure you’ve got the tools necessary to fix, repair or build. After all, you can’t call yourself a true DIY-er if you don’t have a tool kit handy! Here are our suggested tools for your (perhaps) very first tool kit.
